The opinion pointed out that in recent years, the rapid development of China's exhibition industry has become an important platform for building a modern market system and an open economic system, and its role in China's economic and social development has become increasingly prominent. At the same time, there are also problems such as irrational structure, imperfect policies, and weak international competitiveness. It is urgent to deepen reforms, innovate, and further improve the development level of the exhibition industry.

The opinions emphasize that to promote the reform and development of the exhibition industry, the key is to adhere to the direction of professionalization, internationalization, branding, and informatization, cultivate and expand market players, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the exhibition industry, and strive to promote China from a major country in the exhibition industry to an exhibition industry.
